COMMISSION DUTIES

The Mlssourl River BaSin Commission, In
accordance wJlh the WOler Resources Planning
Act of 1965. serves as "The principal agency for
the coordination of Federal, State, InterstaTe,
local ond nongovernmerHol pions for the develop"
ment of waler ond reloled land resources" in
the BaSin. The primary function of the Commission
IS TO "prepare and keep up TO date,'He compre.

MISSOUri River Bosln. Among other functions the
Commission can recommend ond coordinate long.
