Neubergel', was s.../orn in 1.\ay 22. 1972. The <br />organizational meeting of the Commission was held on June 14, 1972 in Council <br />Bluffs. Iowa. Official Corrmission action taken at the June l~ meeting included <br />reaching a consensuS that Omaha. nebraska be estab1 ished as headquarters city <br />for the new Basin Commission~ approval of Interim COl11T1ission By1a"'ls, Operating <br />Budget and Personnel !'1anagement Guidelines; ~IRBC accepting manager.Jent and <br />coordination responsibility of the Platte River Level B Comprehensive Study; <br />and approving a request to seek funding for a James River Level B Comprehensive <br />Study in FY-73.
