<br />Comprehensive Planning Committee. The Comprehensive Planning Committee (CPC), <br />under the Chairmanship of Joel Wentz of Kansas, held meetings in conjunction <br />with the 1l6th and lI7th meetings of AWRBIAC. At the lI6th Meeting the cPC pre- <br />sented a program on state water planning in accordance with the charge given the <br />committee. A new charge was given the committee to develop information on <br />C) interstate compacts. AWRBIAC subsequently recommended a theme of interstate <br />~) compacts for the 117th meeting. The information developed by CPC members was <br />~ incorporated into the minutes of the Illth Meeting in fulfillment of the charge. <br />c.o <br />~ STATE AND FEDERAL ACTIVITY REPORTS <br />~ <br /> <br />The 5-minute activity reports are a part of the agenda of each AWRBIAC meeting. <br />These reports cover legislation, planning, construction, operation, and other <br />subjects in the area of water and related land resources. The 5-minute activity <br />reports are informative and generate meaningful discussions. These reports are <br />appended 'to the minutes of the meetings. <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS <br /> <br />In appreciation for services to the Arkansas-White-Red Basins Inter-Agency <br />Committee, resolutions were adopted for the following: General Robert J. Dacey, <br />Charles Nemir, William A. White, Nick Carter, Gordon L. Thorn, <br />Captain Eugene E. O'Donnell, Arthur C.
