fI' .. Q'" I
,,' / ", '" I.,
e)"",~..,jJ"!'

.

General Description

COOPERATING AGENCY INVESTIGATIONS

Other Federal agencies concerned with the development of water
and land resources were advised of the Bureau of Reclamation's plans
to study the St. Vrain Creek basin. Accordingly, each interested
agency considered the potentialities of the basin with regard to its
respective responsibilities.

Inasmuch as the Bureau's investigations revealed that specific
reconnaissance proposals for the St. Vrain Unit were not justified
at this time, the studies of the Bureau of Outdoor Recreation were
terminated without recommendations. The Bureau of Sport Fisheries
and Wildlife and the Federal Water Pollution Control Administration,
however, did make certain recommendations regarding the unit. The
comments and reports of all of these agencies are appended.

Because these investigations did not develop a specific plan
for water resource development, the Corps of Engineers was not
contacted regarding flood control possibilities.

.

.

6

"Ji. ~J.i__
