C0!ORM\:) <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Witte: <br />Please accept this letter as written notification of the City's intent to utilize John Martin <br />Reservoir to regulate release of Fry-Ark Project water for municipal use. <br /> <br />The Bureau of Reclamation may use the reservoir releases associated with delivery of <br />this water to John Martin Reservoir to facilitate the testing of the Safety of Dams <br />diversion structures at Pueblo Reservoir. The time and rate of release from Pueblo <br />Reservoir to John Martin Reservoir can be at your discretion in consultation with the <br />Bureau of Reclamation. However, releases must be made before May I, 1999. The total <br />volume of Fry-Ark Project water being released in 3,000-acre feet. <br /> <br />The release rate from John Martin Reservoir to the Fort Bent Ditch will be approximately <br />(10-20) cubic feet per second.
