Date Step 5 Responsible Office During this phase of the wilderness inventory process the SD will review District Managers' recommendations on Proposed Wilderness Study Areas, make a decision and submit BLM Proposed Wilderness Study Areas for public review. A statewide Proposed Wilderness Study Area Map will be prepared to facilitate public review. Public comments will be analyzed and evaluated and transmitted to District Managers. Based on this public input, District Managers will make their final recommendations to the SO as to which areas they propose for Wilderness Study Areas.
