Of the total quantity of woters by-passed to the <br />river below the dam during the 5th year about 53,900 acre-feet resulted <br />from United States operations under Minute No. 218, namely the by- <br />passing of waters during periods of winter minimum flow, and was about <br />the same in quantity as during the 4th year. The remaining 75,800 acre- <br />feet comprised additional waters voluntarily by-passed by Mexico, and <br />this quantity was about 50% higher than in the 4th yeor.
