<br />21~9 <br />Following receipt of the advice Iran Assistant Attolney General <br /> <br />tobotllJan, the Task Force resuned its deliberations early in 1980 to <br /> <br />prepare its final report. It has rrodified sam of its rec:cmendations <br /> <br />to reflect that advice, and has att.enpted to reflect the public concerns <br />voiCed during the review of the draft Report. 'Ibe Task Force believes <br />this final report sets forth a realistic and attainable program for quanti- <br />fication of federal water rights that protects federal interests, slJ:)gests <br />avenues for close cooperation between federal, state and local interests <br /> <br />and, by raroving the urx:ertainty caused by unquantified federal water <br /> <br />riyhts, fairly reflects the President's concerns to protect and prcr.ote <br /> <br />state and private interests in this highly sensitive area. <br />B.
