Case No. 79CWllO (Water Division No.6). Application for <br />water rights of Colorado-Ute Electric Association, Inc. and CRWCD. Decree <br />transfers 13,310 acre-feet of Juniper Reservoir to Elkhead Reservoir, Hayden <br />Reservoir, and Steamboat Lake under certain terms and conditions. Water right <br />transferred was a portion of the 19,000 acre-feet owned by Colorado-Ute in <br />Juniper Reservoir. <br /> <br />O. July 21, 1981. Water rights agreement between CRWCD and City of Craig, <br />Colorado. Agreement subordinates the River District's Juniper Project and Cross <br />Mountain Project water rights to 6,000 acre-feet of the Mitchell Reservoir water <br />right owned by Craig for a term specified in the agreement. CRWCD also grants <br />Craig the option to divert 10,000 acre-feet of water from Juniper Reservoir <br />directly or by exchange subject to certain terms and conditions. <br /> <br />II. CONVEYANCES <br /> <br />A. February 23, 1965. Deed between CRWCD (grantor) and Colorado-Ute Electric <br />Association, Inc. (grantee). CRWCD conveyed to Colorado-Ute the right to <br />5,000 acre-feet of water annually from the 1954 Juniper Reservoir storage right. <br /> <br />B. July 17, 1979. Deed between CRWCD (grantor) and Colorado-Ute Electric <br />Association, Inc. (grantee). CRWCD quit claimed 14,000 acre-feet of water from <br />1954 Juniper Reservoir water storage right subject to certain terms and <br />conditions. <br /> <br />C. July 17, 1979. Deed between CRWCD (grantor) and Colorado-Ute Electric <br />Association, Inc. (grantee). CRWCD quit claimed to Colorado-Ute 40,720 acre- <br />feet of the 43,220 acre-feet conditionally decreed to the Pleasant Valley Reservoir <br />and 300 c.f.s. conditionally decreed to the Pleasant Valley Feeder Canal water <br />right. <br /> <br />III. SUBORDINATIONS <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />A. March 22, 1984. Case No. 83CW143 (Water Division No.6). In the matter of <br />the application for water rights of the Colorado River District. Decree adds a <br />new paragraph to the CRWCD's decree entered in Civil Action No. 1278, which <br />paragraph subordinates the Deadman Bench Canal, the Juniper Power Plant, and <br />the Juniper Reservoir water rights to "all in-basin water rights located upstream <br />of the decrees and adjudicated after the decrees . . . in the amount of the total <br />consumptive use of 65,000 acre-feet.
