C.C.S. <br />Project Engineer <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />SHELL VALLEY WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICf, WY -- Designed outlet works for renovations to <br />the Adelaide Lake Dam including trash racks, sluice gate, intake structure, conduit, impact stilling <br />basin, weir. and discharge channel. <br /> <br />SPRING LINE AND WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS, DOUGLAS, WY -- Assisted in researching and <br />writing a preliminary design report, final design, and contracr document preparation for improvements <br />to 18 miles of 12 inch water transmission line and other disnibution system improvements including: <br />new chlorination building; spring house renovations; V-notch weir; venturi tube flow meter; <br />improvements to existing air-vacuum relief valves, service taps, stream crossings, and blow-off valves; <br />modifications to existing storage tank piping, and tank level controls including telemetry. Completed <br />Quantity take.offs, cost estimates, and assisted in putting the project out for bid. Conducted field <br />inspection of construction. <br /> <br />PUMPING FACILITIES IMPROVEMENTS, LARAMIE, WY -. Helped set up and conduct pump station <br />tests, analyz.ed pump test data, and helped write a preliminary design report outlining test procedures, <br />conclusions. and recommendations for improvements to existing pumping facilities and disnibution <br />piping. Assisted in f.nal design and preparation of contract documents for improvements to 3 pump <br />stations including new pumps, suction and discharge piping, emergency power, and pump controls <br />with telemetry. Also assisted in the design and survey of new 12 and 16 inch water disnibution lines. <br /> <br />COMMUNITY DRINKING WATER AND SANITATION PROGRAM, NEPAL -- Completed feasibility and <br />detail surveys for 13 drinking water projecrs ranging from 3-15 kms. in length and serving 300-1500 <br />people. Completed and submitted designs, drawings, project files, and material, labor, transportation, <br />and cost estimates for 21 drinking water projects. Supervised the construction of 4 drinking water <br />projec:s. Responsibilities included: transportation of materials, organization of labor, supervision of <br />construction, evaluation of completed projects, and working with community leaders to secure support <br />and commitment to the projects. <br />
