Identified cause of siltation and <br />made recommendations for clean-up by client. <br /> <br />ROCK CREEK RANCH n Performed engineering studies to determine the water and wastewater utility <br />requirements for the 6,000 unit multiple-use Rock Creek Ranch located in Boulder County, Colorado. <br />Analyzed water requirements and recornmended water acquisitions, developed raw warer transrnission and <br />treatment scenarios, recommended water transmission and storage requirements, detennined wastewater <br />projections and recommended alternative wastewater treatment scenarios. <br /> <br />TROUT CREEK WILDLIFE HABITAT -- Directed the planning and design for construction of a wildlife habitat <br />on the Trout Creek Ranch. Habitat includes the construction of a 10-acre pond for fishing and water fowl. <br /> <br />SEWER REPLACEMENT PROJECT -- Directed the hydraulic analysis and development of preliminary <br />engineering srudies and final design for a sewer replacement project for the City of Wesoninster. The final <br />design has been completed and constrUction of rhe facilities will be performed by the City. <br /> <br />FOUNTAlN CREEK GAGING STATION n Directed the site location, preliminary design, muln-jurisdictional <br />approval and design of a flow-measuring sntlcrure for the City of Colorado Springs on Lower Fountain Creek. <br /> <br />EASTEP.N FREMONT COUNTI 201 FACILITIES Pl..ANT n At M&l Consulting Engineers oerved as Project <br />Engineer developing a 201 Facilities Plan for rhe Eastern Prernonr County Sanitation Disrrict. Work lOcluded <br />development of an infilrrarion/inflow analysis. alternative rreaanent system evaluation, preliminary design, <br />economic and financial analyses. Recommendations developed in the 201 Facilities Plan were implemented <br />including the creativn of the multi-jurisdictional Eascem "remonr County Sanitation Disrrict, construction <br />of a major wastewater interceptor and treaunenr facility for the County. <br /> <br />GREELEY WATER TRANSMISSION LINE -- At NHPQ served as residenr inspector for the Greeley Water <br />rransmission line which consisted of 22-112 miles of 34 inch rhrough 16 inch steel and ductile iron water <br />lines. Duties included supelvising surveying activities and other field representatives. <br /> <br />CITY OF WALSENBURG PROJECT .- AT NHPQ served as resident inspector for construction of water <br />disoibution lines, sewer lines, water trearment planr, industrial park road and sewage rreaanent facilities <br />for the City of Walsenburg. <br /> <br />CI1Y OF FORT LUPTON PROJECT -- At NHPQ served as resident inspector for the consrruction of a <br />1,000,000 gaIlon sree! water storage tank, water transmission and disrribution lines, sewer lines, and sewer <br />lift starion. <br /> <br />Water Ri"hts <br /> <br />COLORADO CANAL WATER RIGHTS TRANSFER -- Represented the purchaser, the City of Colorado Springs, <br />in the acquisirion and rransier and yield evaluation of its Colorado Canal water rights. Colorado Canal <br />consists of a integrated project diverting warer from the Arkansas River for both direct flow irrigation and <br />storage. Colorado Springs has successfully completed rhlS water righrs acquisition of approximately 17,500 <br />acre-feet of consumptive use Water for use within its system. <br /> <br />ARKANSAS RIVER EXCHANGE PLAN .. Directed interdisciplinary srudies for the development of a water <br />rights exchange on rhe Arkansas River by the City of Colorado Spnngs. Work included analysis of the City's <br />water rights, rransmountain yields and rerum flows, analysis of the hydrology and water rights regime of <br />
