Federal Government. $49.5 million was authorized <br />in the Ute Water Rights Settlement Act of 1988. <br />This is a payment into the tribal development fund. <br /> <br />C. Joint State of Colorado/Federal Government. One <br />hundred acres of land with access to McPhee <br />Reservoir to ute Mountain Ute Tribe.. <br /> <br />II. Animas La-Plata Project <br />Nonfederal Cost Sharing. <br /> <br />Phased Construction and <br /> <br />A. Phase I to be completed wi thin twelve years by <br />Reclamation with nonfederal cost sharing. (Phase I <br />included only Ridges Basin. Phase II to be <br />nonfederally funded [could use tribal funds]) <br />Phase II includes the Southern Ute Indian Reservoir <br />and Diversion Dam. <br /> <br />B. Animas-La Plata Water Conservancy District - $7.3 <br />million lump sum one-year payment prior to M&I <br />water being available to nonIndian beneficiaries. <br /> <br />1. Repayment contract with Reclamation executed <br />January 11, 1988 for District I s portion of <br />reimbursable costs from nonIndians under Phase <br />1. <br /> <br />2. $75,000 in $5,000 annual payments as part of <br />cost sharing. <br /> <br />C. Montezuma County. <br /> <br />1. $50,000 paid to repayment contract for <br />municipal water. <br /> <br />D.
