The Board distnbuted the following position statement at the meeting that
confirms the Board's commitment to support the Legacy Project as weD as addressing some of
Trout Unlimited's issues.

The Board of Water Works will work with the City of Pueblo Planning
Department and other entities to develop a low now (less than SO CFS discharged
from the I"i'Jer outlet at Pueblo Dam) operational plan for the Arkansas River to try
and limit the minimum low flow to 50 CFS. In the spirit of cooperation. whenever
the flow in the river drops below 50 CFS at the Arkansas River Gage below
Pueblo Dam. the Board agrees to take a portion of its raw water flow up to a
maximum ofIl MOD (17 CFS) through either the Board's Northside or
Southside intake.rather than the municipal outlet and raw water pipeline :from
Pueblo Dam.

Pagel of 2

6.

o
N
QD
l:.:J

6.

,.
CofT\ment noted.
