<br />GOIG <br /> <br />, ,. <br />i't <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />the Secretary of the Interior to Federal and State agencies under the <br /> <br />Flood Control Act of 1944. <br /> <br />Feasibility designs and estimates and the financial and economic <br /> <br />analysis on the WEST DIVIDE PROJECT Mve been completed recently. Prep- <br /> <br />aration of the appendixes and writing of the proposed feasibility report <br /> <br />are in progress. It is anticipated that within the next 30 days the <br /> <br />report will be completed and distributed to State and local interests <br /> <br />for their informal review. <br /> <br />The plan now adopted for the SAN MIGUEL PROJECT proposed feasibility <br /> <br />report consists of a 25,600-acre-foot Radium Reservoir, a 72,600-acre-foot <br /> <br />Saltado Reservoir, and a 9,200-acre-foot Naturita Reservoir to provide <br /> <br />municipal and industrial water for a future demand of 44,000 acre-feet <br /> <br />and to serve a 38,950-acre irrigation development. Financial and <br /> <br />economic analyses and preparation of the proposed feasibility report <br /> <br />are in progress. The proposed report is scheduled to be completed early <br /> <br />in this calendar year to be available for consideration by the State of <br /> <br />Colorado. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On the BATTLEMENT MESA PROJECT, water supply studies, geologic <br /> <br />investigations, and preparation of design data for Owens Dam, Buzzard <br /> <br />Creek Dam, and other project features are in progress. Cooperative <br /> <br />studies with other Federal agencies are continuing. A proposed feasi- <br /> <br />bility report is scheduled for completion by the end of FY 1966. <br />']IPlan formulation studies, water supply studies, and preparation <br /> <br />of the project lands appendix are in progress on the BLUESTONE PROcTECT. <br /> <br />Foundation drilling has been completed at the Mt. Logan Damsite and <br /> <br />initiated at the Una Damsite. A proposed feasibility report is scheduled <br /> <br />for completion in FY 1967. <br /> <br />7 <br />
