In 1965, 108,800 acre-feet <br />of water was used for irrigation. By the end of the projection period <br />this fugure will have increased to 1,622,600 acre-feet. All other water <br />withdrawals in this region in 1965 tOtaled 26,300 acre-feet and should <br />increase to 105,800 acre-feet by the end of the projection period. <br />This region could account for approximately \1 percent of the total <br />water requirement within the state by year 2020. <br /> <br />43. <br />
