<br />the State of Nevada for its exclusive use. The District has an option
<br />to obtain the exclusive use of this 82,500-kw generator upon four
<br />years' notice. Additional generating capacity consisting of two
<br />units at Parker power plant, with a combined capacity of 50,000 kw
<br />will be transferred to the District's exclusive use on December Iii,
<br />1952.
<br />
<br />The City of Los Angeles, Southern California Edison Company,
<br />California Electric Power Company, the California-Pacific Utilities
<br />Company, all in California, and the Citizens Utilities Company at
<br />Kingman, Arizona, purchase all Hoover Dam firm energy allocated
<br />to the District but unused by it. Tables 3 and 4 show use by the
<br />District and resale to others of the District's allocated obligation
<br />of Hoover firm energy.
