<br />GOVERNMENT OF THE DISTRICT
<br />
<br />Colorado State Statntes provide tbe District shall
<br />\,be under the direction' of a Board of Directors repre-
<br />::senting the area covered by the Di~trict. The District
<br />,Court Order creating the Southeastern Colorado Water
<br />.;Conservancy. District in 1958, ruled thaI eacb of the
<br />i;"nine Counties in the District would have two appointed
<br />':Directors with the exception that one Director .would
<br />( represent that portion of Prowers and Kiowa Counties
<br />within the District. Other Counties represented are:
<br />:-' Chaffee, Fremont, El Paso, Pueblo, Otero, Crowley
<br />;" and Bent. '
