White River in the vicinity of Buford, CO 093030

-..t
W
..... The above changes and reasons therefore were di scussed in the Study

Manager's memorandum to State Steering Committee members dated April 14,

1978 (attachment A-4). This

was necessitated by the desireability of increasing the spread in size

and characteristics of the cold-water candidate reaches. Accordingly, it

was recommended:

1.

That the East Fork of Williams Fork above Willow C be
added,

092486
092410

.

2. That the NF White River at Buford be dropped, and,

5.

That the Yampa River in the vicinity of Hatden, CO be
added.

092444

The CIFSG proceeded on the basis of the above with the concurrence of the
Study Manager (expressed orally).

As mentioned in connection with the April 4 conference, the CIFSG had

analyzed the UCRB-RAA groups and size classes. It stratified the upper

Colorado River Basin streams by size of watershed, after first 1 isting

all pertinent gaging stations(S) and placing the reaches upstream from

them in three groups, namely:

.

19
