Changes are being made
in the plan as a result of SCS's National Office review.
The distribution of the Final EIS and Plan, and issuing of
a ROD of decision has been approved by the National Office
conditional to the required. changes. The distribution is
scheduled for October.

Chickahominy-Moody Slough

The steering committee was successful in generating support
for this watershed. The sponsors expect comments soon. Planning
on this project is slowing because of the need to do more
detailed evaluations than originally thought necessary.
National Bulletin No. 390-0-2, Information on Land Treat-
ment in PL-566 Projects has given us new insights into
the requirements for these plans.

Potter Creek Watershed

The Field Examination Report on this project is complete.
Two public meetings were conducted by the sponsors. Interest
and attendance at the first meeting was weak, but strengthened
significantly at the second meeting.
