DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE <br /> <br />Semi -Annua 1 Report <br /> <br />Pacific Southwest Inter-Agency Committee <br /> <br />January 1, 1980 - June 30, 1980 <br /> <br />SOIL ~ONSERVATION SERVICE <br /> <br />RIVER BASIN PLANNING <br /> <br />ARIZONA: Santa Cruz-San Pedro River Basin Cooperative Study <br /> <br />Additional copies of the basin report have been printed. <br /> <br />Little Colorado River Basin Cooperative Study <br /> <br />The study involves the preparation of 12 working papers which <br />will be combined into a report upon completion of the study. <br />Three papers; Flooding, Recreation, and Fish and Wildlife, <br />have been completed and distributed. Three papers; Timber, <br />M&I, and Rural, Domestic and Livestock, have been completed <br />and are awaiting printing of maps before distribution. Two <br />papers; Irrigation and Socio-economic, have been reviewed <br />and preparation of the final paper is underway. One paper, <br />Surface Water Budgets, is currently undergoing TSC review. <br />One paper; Development of Surface Water Resources, has <br />completed the local review and is being prepared for TSC <br />review. One paper; Description of the Basin, is being <br />typed. The. last paper, Erosion and Sediment, is essentially <br />complete and the write-up is in progress. <br /> <br />All of the field work for the study has been completed. A <br />total of 36 maps will be published, of which 23 have been <br />completed and 13 are being prepared. <br /> <br />Colorado River Indian Reservation Irrigation Water <br />Management Study <br /> <br />The Parker Field Office has continued basic resource data <br />collection efforts. <br /> <br />Data on the amount of irrigation water applied at 20 on- <br />farm weirs and recorder sites is being collected. The <br />Water Conservation Lab, SEA, is using their digitizer and <br />computer fac 11 ities to compute the amount of water from <br />the graphs. <br /> <br />C-25 <br /> <br />-'.'. ~, <br />
