Bring recreation facilities into compliance with current State and Federal laws for health, <br />safety, and accessibility, <br />. Protect cultural and environmental resources, <br />. Meet current and future recreational demand, <br />. Rehabilitate recreation facilities in an economically, technically, and environmentally <br />sound manner. <br /> <br />Selected Action and Implementation Plan <br /> <br />The selected action is the proposed action: a short-term, intensive recreation rehabilitation effort <br />based on modifications to the team preferred alternative from the 1995 Recreation Rehabilitation <br />Conceptual Plan. The modifications better reflect the following items: <br />. presence of cultural and other sensitive resources <br />. priorities for rehabilitation from the Design/Construction Agreement <br />. available funding <br />. potential water level fluctuations from reservoir operations <br />. _public health, safety, and accessibility <br />A more detailed description of the Ploposed Action by Management Area is shown in Table 2.1 <br />and on Maps 2.1 (sheets 1-4),2.2, and 2.3 of the environmental assessment. <br /> <br />Under this action, Reclamation and State Parks would, in the next few years, provide certain <br />priority recreational facilities at the Park to the limit of the available funding. The initial focus <br />would be on management areas A- F (see location map), and would include the following major <br />facilities: <br /> <br />- New/enlarged maintenance area <br />- 1-2 acre dry storage area <br />- Fishing access wi associated <br />parking <br /> <br />- 40-50 site campground wi use <br />pads. electricaVwater hookups <br /> <br />- 40-;6 site campground wi use <br />pads, electricaVwater hookups <br /> <br />- Parking for up to 1;0 vehicles <br />~ Accessible flush restroom <br /> <br />Area A <br />- Parking lot for up to 70 vehicles <br />- Access ramp to high water <br /> <br />- Overflow parking area for up to <br />80 vehicles <br />- Flush restroom at mooring cove; <br />associated parking <br /> <br />Area B <br />Enlarged amphitheater <br /> <br />- Accessi.ble flush restroom wi <br />showers and associated parking <br /> <br />Area C <br />- Accessible camper services <br />building wi flush restroom, <br />showers, associated parking <br /> <br />Area D <br />- Rigging/de-rigging lanes <br /> <br />- RV dump station wi pot- <br />able water <br />- 2-3 flush restrooms <br /> <br />- Fish cleaning station <br />- Water tower repair/replacement <br /> <br />OOIJ05 <br />
