<br />San Juan-Chama <br /> <br />Water Accounting <br />Albuquerque Area Office <br />May 1995 <br /> <br />The natural inflow into Heron Reservoir during the month of May was 2,160 <br />acre-feet (AF) as shown on Table 3. Net San Juan-Chama losses were 1,000 AF <br />as shown on Table 2. The diversions through Azotea Tunnel for the month of <br />May were computed to be 36,140 AF. <br /> <br />There was no San Juan-Chama release made from Heron for the month of May. <br /> <br />Total precipitation at Heron Reservoir for the month of May was 1.74 inches <br />which is 165% of normal. The monthly computations for Heron Reservoir are <br />summarized in Table 1-3. <br /> <br />Total inflow into Nambe Falls Reservoir was computed to be 1,894 AF <br />Evaporation loss on the reservoir was 15 AF. Table 4 summarizes San Juan- <br />Chama water at Otowi. <br /> <br />Estimated sediment deposition in the San Juan-Chama pools at Cochiti, Abiquiu, <br />and Jemez Canyon Reservoirs are presented in Tables 5A-5C. <br /> <br />Storage and evaporation of Rio Grande water in El Vado and Abiquiu reservoirs <br />are shown on Table 6. <br /> <br />All data are provisional and subject to revision as final data are collected <br />and analyzed. <br />
