These wetlands are generally Typo 1 <br /> <br />(Cirs",lar aQ) sr PEM (Palustrine Emergent). The project may result in loss or reduction <br /> <br />in size of irrigation induced wetlands in irrigated fields. Estimated average of wetlands <br /> <br />in the watershed are: <br /> <br />Type I, II, III <br />Type V, VI <br /> <br />3,000 Acres (PEM) <br />12,000 Acres (POW, PFO, R20W, R40W) <br /> <br />Wetlands were digitized usina GRASS version 4.2. Cultural remains <br /> <br />have been observed and indicate that the area was utilized from the Holocene. The <br /> <br />most intensive oerioid of orehistoric use was the Plains Woodland and Early Plains <br /> <br />II <br />J2 <br />
