Sixty-five (65) local communities in collaboration with concerned <br /> <br />soil conservation districts have requested watershed project <br /> <br />assistance for watershed protection and flood prevention. <br />2. Forty-eight watershed project applications for assistance have <br /> <br />been approved by the State Soil Conservation Board and forwarded <br /> <br />to the Secretary of Agriculture. <br /> <br />3. Twenty-three (23) watershed projects have been authorized for <br /> <br />planning assistance. <br /> <br />4.
