<br />86. In each of the nine reaches, areas inundated and damages were
<br />estimated for a ,number of flood discharges and discharge-damage relation-
<br />ship curves prepared. Discharge-damage data were correlated with
<br />discharge-frequency relationships to derive the damage-frequency relation-
<br />ship as demonstrated for a typical reach on plate 6. The total estimated
<br />average annual monetary flood damage under existing conditions of develop-
<br />ment is $1,744,800 (June 1967 prices) as summarized in table 11. This
<br />would be reduced by $499,500 to $1,245,300 by Pueblo Dam and Reservoir
<br />as also indicated in the tabulation.
