Under the title "The Middle Missouri-
A Rediscovery," the report presented several important recommendations
to insure the preservation and use of the recreational potentials of the
area. In addition an in-depth study was made of the islands in the
Platte River between the Towns of Columbus and Valley, Nebraska. The
results of this study will be incorporated in an Interior Report on
America's Islands to be released early in fiscal year 1969.

;:!:~~}~~~:

...:..;..'....:.
f:::;,:.~:-~~'::.
:.::<..;:.~.,:.
