L, 0448

Following i~ a tabulation in acre feet of the Independence Pass Trans-
mountain Diversion System's water production for the past five years:

~
1974
1973
1972
1971
1970

PRODUCTION

Total
5 Year Average

43,500
55,071
44,669
50,493
61.160
254,893
50,979

The New York Collection System was. improved this year by placing 4flO
lineal feet of 103" x 71", corrugated metal pipe in snow slide areas.
A~so, this fall the deposits of rocks and debris in concentrated areas
of Tunnel No. 2 were moved and placed in floor holes thus increasing the
capacity of the tunnel.

We purchased a used 1965 Dodge dump truck and a used Allis-Chalmers
backhoe and front end loader on tracks. This equipment has been very
beneficial in maintaining the canals. We anticipate that the only
equipment needed in 1975 will be the replacement of the 1969 Jeep pickup.

Total Colorado Canal headgate diversions in acre feet for the water year
1973-1974 were as follows:

MONTH BmB TWIN LAKES LAKE MER.
