Platte River study funds appropriated to WPRS for 1979 total <br /> <br />$420,000. <br /> <br />USDI has requested WPRS to participate in the platte River Study and also <br /> <br />to fund the participation of USGS. Because of the importance of understanding <br /> <br />river and aquifer hydrology before developing any management alternatives, it <br /> <br />, <br />.. <br /> <br />is imperative that the USGS and WPRS studies be closely coordinated with the <br /> <br />v <br /> <br />FWS efforts. <br /> <br />The funds required for the WPRS and USGS portion of the study total <br /> <br />$1,477,000. Funds for the FWS effort are $825,000.
