Individual lakes will be chosen <br />based on survey of the most recent aerial photographs available from public and <br />private sources, Initial contacts with legal owners of potential candidate lakes will <br />be made via telephone.. Site visits to each lake will be completed for ground tJ1Jth <br />infollnation, aCcess negotiation, and collection of physical field daUl.. <br /> <br />Stocking prop09ls submitted will include pertinent physical descriptions of <br />location, sUli'ace area, W<iter source, lake use, inlet 10cationfstJ'ucture, and outlet <br />10cation/stl1Icture. Description of fish being requested for stocking will include <br />species, number <ind sizes proposed.. Compilation of information required for <br />consideration of the stocking request under Section IIB, 1-5 will be completed <br />using the best information available.. Examples of sources identified are as <br />follows: <br /> <br />lIB I - stated lake management objectives of lake owner; available mapping <br />(T,R,S) <br />IIB2 - best available information <br />IIB3 - identification of physical inletioutlet description/literature review of <br />published and unpublished research results <br />IIB4 - same <br />IIB5 - site specific opportunities identified, cooperative regional opportunities <br />identified <br /> <br />Researchers will compile detailed nares on those techniques required to satisfy <br />stocking criteria required by the interim stocking policy.. Specific problems <br />identified with techniques/technologies utilized will be identified, Modifications <br />required will also be documented.. A detailed report will be provided documenting <br />problems, resolutions, and modifLcations which were found to be helpful in <br />satisfying rhe C1iteria..
