Association (CREDA) opposed changes in operations and loss of peaking power and
impact on power fates.
Grand Canyon Protection (GCP) Act passed on September 30, 1992 after several
attempts by Congress and interested parties (see Committee Reports @ CWCB and AG

of a concern because it was apparent that future CRSP projects were unlikely to
be built)
