ROY ROMER
Governor
0
0
OFFICE OF THE STATE ENGINEER
DIVISION OF WATER RESOURCES
1313 Sherman Street -Room 818
Denver, Colorado 80203
(303) 866-3581
FAX [303] 866-3589
HAROLD (HAL) D. SRAPSON
Acting State Engineer
* I am pleased to release this compilation of stream flow records computed by
our office for the 1990-91 water year. Included in this report are daily discharges
computed at approximately 150 sites in most of the major drainage basins in
Colorado. These sites come from two overlapping catego*ies:
• 1. The sixty-two sites computed by us for incorporation into the U.S.
Geological Survey annual stream flow publication under the co-operative agreement
between our agencies.
2. Other sites either previously published by the U.S.G.S. or otherwise
deemed important enough by our Division Engineers to warrant the time and effort
to develop the daily record in accordance with the same standards applied to all
U.S.G.S. stream flow records.
in addition to the "hard copy" of the stream flow data, we plan to make PC -
compatible flat files of all the daily flows included in this report available with the
report on both 3 1/2 and 5 1/4 formats.
We hope to continue to release the annual reports such as this each spring.
In future releases we hope to include all the past records computed by our staff
which were never published by the U.S.G.S. First in this effort will be a compilation
• of all the stream flow records computed by our staff and not included in the federal
publications between 1981 and 1990.
•
0
./1.
Y-r:z.-
Harold D. Simpson
Acting State Engineer
