To determine whether the Governor has signed the bill <br />or taken other action on it, please consult the legislative status sheet, the legislative <br />history, or the Session Laws. <br /> <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />---.-/' -- <br />~ <br /> <br />-----~ <br /> <br />HOUSE BILL 06-1400 <br /> <br />BY REPRESENTATlVE(S) Buescher and Penry and Curry, Coleman, <br />Frangas, Gallegos, Gardner, Hall, Hodge, Hoppe, Jahn, King, Liston, <br />Madden, Merrifield, Paccione, Rose, Stafford, Sullivan, White, and <br />Witwer; <br />also SENATOR(S) Isgar, Fitz-Gerald, and Taylor. <br /> <br />CONCERNING lNTERBASIN COMPACTS, AND, IN CONNECTION THEREWITH, <br />APPROVING THE INTERBASIN COMPACT CHARTER, ALTERING THE <br />BOUNDARIES THAT DEFINE CERTAIN WESTERN SLOPE BASIN <br />ROUNDTABLES, AND MAKING AN APPROPRIATION. <br /> <br />Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. 37-75-105 (2), Colorado Revised Statutes, is amended <br />to read: <br /> <br />37-75-105. Interbasin compact committee - report - repeal. <br />(2) (a) Not later than July 1, 2006, the interbasin compact committee shall <br />establish and refer to the general assembly an interbasin compact charter <br />that shall govern and guide all negotiations between basin roundtables <br />under this article. If the committee does not so refer the charter by July I, <br />2006, this article is repealed, effective July 1, 2006. Upon receipt, <br />consideration, and approval ofthe charter by the general assembly acting by <br /> <br />Capita/letters indicate new material added to existing statutes; dashes through words indicate <br />deletions from existing statutes and such material not part of act. <br />
