<br /> <br />/ <br />~ <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />SENATE BILL 07-008 <br /> <br />I <br />BY SENA TOR(S) Taylor, Fitz-Gerald, Isgar, Kester, Schwartz, Shaffer, <br />Wiens, and Williams; <br />also REPRESENT A TIVE(S) Curry, Butcher, Hodge, White, Fischer, <br />Garcia, Madden, and Rose. <br /> <br />CONCERNING EXPANSION OF THE WATER EFFICIENCY GRANT PROGRAM. <br /> <br />Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. 37-60-126 (1) (a), (2) (a), (5), (7), and (12), Colorado <br />Revised Statutes, are amended to read: <br /> <br />37-60-126. Water conservation and drought mitigation planning <br />- programs - relationship to state assistance for water facilities - <br />guidelines - water efficiency grant program - repeal. (1) As used in this . <br />section and section 37-60-126.5, unless the context otherwise requires: <br /> <br />(a) "Agency" means a public or private agency ENTITY whose <br />primary purpose is INCLUDES the promotion of water resource conservation. <br /> <br />(2) (a) Vlithin Ii v C yea1s after June 4, 1991, Each covered entity that <br />does not 11a v c:. a watc1 use cfficiency plan satisfy ing, the pIO v isions of <br />subse:.ction (4) of this section shall, subject to section 37-60-127, develop, <br /> <br />Capital letters indicate new material added to existing statutes; dashes through words indicate <br />deletions from existing statutes and such material not part of act. <br />
