D. Dry -up Parcels Irrigated by Sole Source Wells <br />For any parcel from which surface water has been removed and claimed for augmentation <br />credit, but which will be irrigated by a sole source well (e.g. drip systems or sprinkler systems <br />or sole source flood), the following information must be provided with each March 1 St Plan <br />submittal: <br />1. Well ID Number(s) serving the parcel <br />2. Method of irrigation (Drip, Sprinkler, Flood, Etc.) <br />3. Description of how parcel will be separated from surface water irrigation and storm <br />runoff from areas adjacent to the parcel <br />a) Removal of header ditch <br />b) Plug in header ditch or in feeder from surface water lateral <br />c) Other method (describe) <br />E. Parcels Formerly Containing Alfalfa or Alfalfa -Grass Stands <br />Beginning with the 2006-07 Replacement Plan Year parcels containing alfalfa or mixed alfalfa <br />stands must be deep tilled or chemically killed by no later than April 1st of each Plan Year <br />unless the CDWR field staff have inspected the parcel and the Division Engineer has agreed <br />that the alfalfa stand will not produce any significant growth due to either precipitation or sub - <br />irrigation. Notwithstanding these provisions, for any parcel that exhibits sustained growth (i.e. <br />plant growth to a height of more than 6 inches) during the dry -up year, the CDWR field staff <br />shall require either immediate chemical kill or deep tillage or shall deem the parcel to be <br />disqualified for augmentation credit. <br />F. Parcels with Areas of High Ground Water or Seepage <br />Fields containing areas of high ground water or areas effected by seepage from ditches or <br />natural water courses, ponds or reservoirs may be disqualified or required to be chemically <br />
