Enforcement Items and Actions <br /> <br />Enforcement actions performed by staff this quarter are summarized below: <br /> <br />Upper Black Squirrel: <br /> <br />A complaint was submitted stating that William Kerr was supporting 6 homes with one well. The complaint was not entirely accurate, and Mr. Kerr is now in compliance. <br /> <br />David Goss may have illegally expanded his acres and illegally commingled wells. Staff is currently working with the Goss family. A field inspection will be performed in the next quarter. <br /> <br />Arikaree: <br /> <br />Staff received information from the district indicating that Larry Pickard was using an illegal well to supplement his large capacity replacement well. The well in question was supposed <br /> to have been abandoned. Mr. Pickard has abandoned the illegal well and he is now in compliance. <br /> <br />Staff responded to information claiming that Triple L Farms had been using an illegal well to supplement a large capacity well for the irrigation of illegally expanded acres. This enforcement <br /> action has been resolved and Triple L Farms in now in compliance. <br /> <br />Central Yuma: <br /> <br />Andy Weaver exceeded the annual allocation allowed under his small capacity commercial well permit by 4.5 acre-feet. Mr. Weaver has shut down the well for the year. <br /> <br />North Kiowa Bijou: <br /> <br />Roger Freeman failed to plug and abandon a well following the construction of a replacement well. Mr. Freeman is in contract with Crandall’s Drilling to have the well abandoned. This <br /> abandonment is scheduled for early September. <br /> <br />Plains: <br /> <br />Jack Lowe and Danny Dickey failed to enter into an administrative contract.
