NATIONAL DAM SAFETY PROGRAM (PL 92-367)
HAZARD CLASSIFICATION DETERMINATION
JUMBO CO 884
W. DIV. 5 W. DIST. 72 C- 1002
HAZARD CLASSIFICATION: T.OW
EFFECTIVE DATE: 7/25/79
This dam has been classified as low hazard for the following
indicated reason(s):
Aerial photographs show no significant manmade
structures downstream of the reservoir to a point
where the flood due to breach of the dam is either
(1) expected to be frilly attenuated, or (2) enters
a stream which can accommodate the flood.
® The normal stream channel below the reservoir
is sufficiently sized to fully contain the flood
created by failure of the dam.
The flood created by failure of the dam would be
routed through the emergency spillway of a down-
stream reservoir without causing it to fail, and no
manmade structures are located in the flood plain
between the two reservoirs.
co
REPORT REVIEWED BY:
i4 O
 18 T6Y
J#GISTEED
VAN S CIVER
DIVISION OF WATER RESOURCES PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER
