DWR’s Goals when Auditing
Accounting:
1.Confirm that water users are in compliance with their
Augmentation Plan (Decree/SWSP)
2.Provide assistance to maximize the beneficial use of a
user’s water rights
3.Assist the Water Commissioner in administering the
State’s water
4.Audit all plans every 4 years (minimum)
