Twin Lakes water purchased from Town of Ordway stored in Fowler's
Excess Capacity Storage at Pueblo Reservoir
100.00 a.f. (Volume bid for with Pueblo Board of Water Works. The town has not
received notice on whether it received the water or not.)
? ? ?? a.f. Catlin water through the Super Ditch pilot project. (Project has been
approved but LAVWCD is working on meeting the 60 or so conditions imposed on
the project. We don't know the volume of water at this time but hopefully between
50 a.f. and 250 a.f. depending on snow pack and timing of working through the
conditions.)
Cottonwood Links did not obtain additional water from Ordway. My understanding is
that Hans Fedde is going to give Cottonwood Links some of his 2015 -16 CWPDA well
allocation in whatever way will work with CWPDA. The town has decided not to split
Cottonwood Links into a entirely separate farm unit so ultimately the town's water
supply will be used to augment Cottonwood Links to the extent any gift by Hans
together with the School District's Oxford Shares are insufficient to cover its use.
The town will want to use its water in the following order to the extent the water is
available: (1) Catlin; (2) Pueblo Board of Water Works; (3) Twin Lakes; (4) Project
Water.
