LOCATlON.--Lat 40°25'04", long 104°39'22". in NW¼ sec.11, T.5 N., R.65 W., Weld County, Hydrologic Unit 10190007, on right
bank 25 ft downstream from highway bridge, 2.9 mi east of courthouse in Greeley, and 3.0 mi upstream from mouth.

DRAINAGE AREA.--1,877 mi2.

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry. Elevation of gage is 4,61O ft above National Geodetic Vertical
Datum of 1929, from topographic map. See WSP 171O or 1730 for history of changes prior to Dec. 14, 1933.

REMARKS.--Record is complete and reliable, except for April 13-15; June 30; July 1-3; Aug. 5-8, 1991 when intakes were
plugged. Natural flow of stream affected by transmountain and transbasin diversions,
storage reservoirs, power developments, diversion for municipal supply, diversions upstream from station for
irrigation. Records good except for periods of no gage-height record which is fair. Station maintained and
records developed by George Sievers.
