NEAR DRAKE, CO

LOCATION.--Lat 40°25'15", long 105°13'30", NE¼NW¼ sec. 10, T.5 N., R.70 W., Larimer County.

GAGE.--Graphic water-stage recorder and 8210 Data Collection Platform(DCP) connected to a flow meter
directly connected to the power turbine. The station is maintained by the U.S.B.R. personnel.

REMARKS.--The primary record is hourly discharge data collected by the DCP with graphic chart as a backup.
The record is complete and reliable except for: May 20, 21, 2003—Flow meter not working; June 7-9
2003—Flow meter not working. Record is good except for May 20, 21; and June 7-9, 2003 which are
estimated and poor. The flow at station is intermittent dependent on available river flows, water
orders and other regulations. Record developed by Merlin Friedrichsen.
