32 <br /> <br />PLATTE RIVER BASIN <br /> <br />06735500 BIG THOMPSON RIVER(below Lake Estes) NEAR ESTES PARK, CO <br /> <br />LOCATION.--Lat 40°22'35", long 105°29'06", in NE¼NE¼ sec. 29, T.5 N., R.72 W., Larimer County, Hydrologic <br />Unit 10190006, on right bank 100 ft upstream from Dry Gulch, 600 ft downstream from Olympus Dam, and <br />2.0 mi east of Estes Park. <br /> <br />DRAINAGE AREA.--155 mi². Area at site used Jan. 29, 1934, to Mar. 21, 1951, 162 mi². <br /> <br />GAGE.--Graphic water-stage recorder and Satellite Monitoring DCP in a concrete shelter and well at a 15- <br />foot Parshall Flume. Sutron 8210 DCP has a speech modem card and telephone access. There is a <br />supplementary outside gage. <br /> <br />REMARKS.--The primary record is hourly data taken from satellite monitoring with chart backup. No <br />corrections to tape were required all year, and daily maximum & minimum stages for the satellite <br />record checked to within +- 0,02 with the chart. Record is complete and reliable. The record is <br />good.
