SOUTH BOULDER CREEK DIVERSION NEAR ELDORADO SPRINGS, CO

LOCATION.--Lat 39°56'00", long 105°18'10", SW¼ sec. 26, T.1 S., R.71 W., Boulder County. Diverts Denver
Water Board rights released from Gross Reservoir to South Boulder Creek.

DRAINAGE AREA.--N/A

GAGE.--Graphic water-stage recorder at 12' Parshall flume in a timber shelter and concrete well with
supplemental outside staff gage. Satellite monitoring installed Apr. 24, 1998 and DCP data is
primary record with chart as back up. Station is owned and maintained by Denver Water Board
personnel.

REMARKS.--DCP record was incomplete and giving false reading of 2.22 from January 6 through May 16, 2001;
also May 16 – May 21 the 15 minute data was reading a false reading approximately every 3rd reading.
Chart data was used to fill in these periods of bad DCP readings. Chart record was complete. The
record is good. Record developed by M.L.Cunning.
