Roberts tunnel.

DRAINAGE AREA AND PERIOD OF RECORD.--127 mi²; 1948 to present.

GAGE.--A graphic water stage recorder and satellite monitoring equipment in a wooden shelter over a concrete
well at a concrete trapezoidal channel section and spillway. The gage has power and is equipped with
heat lamps and tapes to prevent freezing of the stilling well and intakes. The station is owned and
maintained by the Denver Water Department. The satellite equipment is owned by USCOE and maintained by
the USGS.

REMARKS.--The primary record is hourly data taken from satellite monitoring with chart back up. The record is
complete and reliable, except for April 6, 11-12, 2005, when the stage-discharge relationship was
affected by ice. Rapid changes in stage are caused by the regulation of Roberts Tunnel, ½ mile upstream.
When Roberts Tunnel is operating, the gage is free from ice. The record is good, except for the period
April 6, 11–12, 2005 which is fair. Station maintained and record developed by Garver Brown.

RATING TABLE.--PLAGRACO12 USED FROM 01-OCT-2004 TO 30-SEP-2005

DISCHARGE, IN CFS, WATER YEAR OCTOBER 2004 TO SEPTEMBER 2005
MEAN VALUES

DAY OCT NOV DEC JAN FEB MAR APR MAY JUN JUL AUG SEP

1 83 180 90 77 76 75 83 33 153 239 196 262
2 81 164 88 77 76 82 72 34 155 330 194 328
3 79 164 89 77 77 92 74 33 153 323 198 346
4 79 164 89 77 77 92 52 33 147 400 267 348
5 79 135 89 77 76 93 24 36 138 471 266 346
6 85 111 89 75 76 93 24 37 136 478 183 273
7 84 110 87 74 76 93 28 37 135 504 182 161
8 83 112 87 75 75 92 30 37 134 535 197 113
9 82 112 89 76 75 93 25 37 137 607 200 117
10 81 100 89 77 76 94 24 44 161 562 205 113
11 99 92 89 75 75 94 24 46 152 477 215 109
12 113 93 89 77 75 95 23 43 163 387 179 97
13 116 94 88 77 75 95 65 41 142 339 121 165
14 115 93 87 77 75 93 115 43 130 341 107 188
15 117 90 87 77 75 93 72 46 131 337 149 125
16 114 94 87 77 75 93 31 54 135 327 220 87
17 113 93 85 77 75 95 35 64 149 319 259 93
18 113 92 80 77 75 94 36 71 162 279 219 93
19 112 91 78 77 75 94 38 99 166 242 190 160
20 112 90 77 77 75 94 38 139 169 302 188 221
21 112 88 77 77 75 93 36 174 174 347 156 141
22 129 89 77 77 75 94 32 199 177 336 131 93
23 138 92 76 77 75 94 34 213 189 312 128 92
24 141 87 75 77 75 95 39 196 183 304 124 91
25 71 93 77 77 75 95 38 184 196 226 122 90
26 30 91 77 77 74 96 36 184 177 160 146 160
27 31 88 77 77 75 96 38 173 162 145 161 244
28 31 89 77 77 74 98 37 163 152 175 160 209
29 40 87 77 76 --- 97 36 156 150 201 158 166
30 146 87 77 77 --- 95 33 174 140 199 156 161
31 182 --- 77 77 --- 92 --- 158 --- 196 196 ---

TOTAL 2991 3165 2577 2376 2108 2884 1272 2981 4648 10400 5573 5192
MEAN 97 106 83 77 75 93 42 96 155 335 180 173
AC-FT 5930 6280 5110 4710 4180 5720 2520 5910 9220 20630 11050 10300
MAX 182 180 90 77 77 98 115 213 196 607 267 348
MIN 30 87 75 74 74 75 23 33 130 145 107 87

WTR YR 2005 TOTAL 46167 MEAN 126 MAX 607 MIN 23 AC-FT 91570

MAX DISCH: 623 CFS AT 19:30 ON Jul. 9, 2005 GH 1.84 FT.
