A significant storm in the 3- <br /> Colorado Springs area on May 10 produced a flow of 3,690 cfs -4 <br /> JANBS JANB6 JAN67 JANBB JAN89 JAN90 JAN91 JAN92 JAN93 JAN94 <br /> in Fountain Creek at the Pinon gage, and a flow of 5,419 cfs MCNTH.YEAR <br /> in the Arkansas near Avondale. This storm resulted in a <br /> period of relatively junior calls on the Arkansas, the most <br /> junior being a 1948 call during May 13-16. The high flows <br /> caused the Ft.Lyon canal to wash out on the 16th and remain <br /> out until the 26th. ARKANSAS RIVER NR. PORTLAND <br /> FLOW BY WATER YEAR <br /> Public Use Impacts <br /> Rules requiring the measuring and reporting of 013 <br /> tributary ground water diversions within the Arkansas river 07 <br /> basin have been issued. The only wells which are exempt B <br /> from these rules include domestic, household use, and other <br /> of= 0.5 <br /> small capacity wells exempted under section 37-92-602 CRS; W <br /> wells within the designated Ground Water Basins; wells 04 <br /> permitted or decreed as non-tributary; and wells of less than g °3 <br /> 50 gpm that are part of a judicially approved plan for 0,2 <br /> augmentation.
