The Natural Resources Surface Water Supp I y Index History <br /> Conservation Service reports February 1 snowpack as 111%of <br /> - <br /> normal. Storage in McPhee,.Vallecito, and Lemon reservoirs <br /> totaled 106% of normal on January 31. Flow at the gaging - 2 <br /> station Animas River near Durango averaged 229 cfs as _, <br /> compared to the 1961-1993 January average of 210 cfs. The <br /> National Weather Service computes basin precipitation as <br /> 206% of normal during the month. Z - <br /> Heavy snow on the 5th and 6th of January brought <br /> the snowpack near Durango up to 120% of normal. Durango <br /> received 2.34 inches of precipitation during the month which --3 <br /> was 142%of normal.
