BASIN ASSESSMENTS cont. <br /> Yampa/White cont. <br /> are currently storing 42,000 acre-feet. Runoff is forecasted to be 84% of <br /> normal ranging from 77% for the Little Snake River basin to 97% for the <br /> Laramie River basin. The flow for the month of January for the key index <br /> station, White River near Boise, averaged 301 cfs as compared to the normal <br /> flow of 398 cfs. Soil moisture is classified as being fair. <br /> San Juan/Dolores <br /> The SWSI value of -3.6 is the lowest in the state and indicates moderate <br /> to severe drought conditions. Runoff is forecasted to be 53% of normal <br /> ranging from 42% for the Piedra River basin to 63% for the Dolores River <br /> basin. The flow for the month of January for the key index station, La Plata <br /> River near Hesperus, averaged 4.0 cfs as compared to the normal flow of 7.1 <br /> cfs. Soil moisture is classified as being critically low. <br />
