The National surface Water Supply Index Hlstcsv <br /> Weather Service reports October precipitation at 76% of normal. ,I _" r — I <br /> Basinwide reservoir storage was 118% of normal on October 31. 4 r <br /> Flow at the gaging station, Animas River at Durango, averaged — ]- <br /> 262 cfs as compared to the 1961-1991 October average of 384 cfs. 2- <br /> The La Plata and Dolores Rivers were both running slightly above <br /> average at the end of the month. Although many ditches continued <br /> to divert irrigation water well into the month October was ° <br /> generally uneventful.
