The SWSI value of+1.5 indicates that for November the COLORADO RIVER BASIN

drainage seemed to be hit especially hard. There are high hopes 3

Administrative/Management Concerns
Some water is still being used for livestock,fisheries, and
power generation. The Shoshone call (1/7/1902)used to satisfy
the Shoshone Hydroelectric Power Plant in Glenwood Canyon
will remain on throughout the winter. Some projects below the COLORADO RIVER NR. DOTSERO
Shoshone call, such as the Silt project on Rifle Creek, have begun 500 FLOW BY WATER YEAR
to store water. The Silt project hopes to fill Harvey Gap and Rifle 450
Gap Reservoirs prior to spring runoff.
