CD-0152-WS-AAC February 24, 1967
Ground Water Commission
Division of Water Resources
232 State Services Building
Denver, Colorado 80203
Gentlemen:
In accordance with our contract with the State of Colorado,
R. W. Beck and Associates have prepared and submit herewith our study
entitled "Ground Water Resources Study Relating to Portions of Prowers,
Baca and Las Animas Counties, Colorado". The study area of this re-
port was limited to that portion of the three counties, the surface drain-
age of which is not tributary to the Arkansas River.
Since this study consisted of the analysis of existing data rather
than the development of new information, it was necessary to work closely
with many agencies and individuals. We particularly wish to express our
appreciation for the excellent cooperation and assistance given us by George
W. Colburn and Harlan W. Erker of the State Engineer's Office during this
s tudy.
Respectfully submitted,
