Commissioner, is required so that the water user can know how many days in advance a <br />diversion or modification to a diversion must be made. Depending upon the hydrologic and <br />hydraulic conditions of each water district such as the stream reach, time of year and the <br />condition of the river, the water may be immediately available for diversion or it may take one or <br />more days to deliver the water to the structure. <br />If water is not immediately available for diversion, the Water Commissioner will attempt to <br />provide water users with at least 24 hours -notice when water will be available.
